Rose Marie Anderson, 69, of Gleason died Tuesday, January 24 at  Jackson Madison County Hospital after a battle with interstitial lung disease.  She was surrounded by her loving family as she entered the gates of heaven. 

Rose was born in McKenzie, on August 20,  1953 and grew up in Gleason. She was a very kind and caring person and was well-loved in her small hometown community. 

Rose leaves behind her husband of 28 years, Charles Edward Anderson. They were married on June 30th, 1994They spent their days loving on others and trying to make their community better. Even in her passing, she helped others by being an organ donor. 

Rose is also survived by her children Michelle Walters, Danielle and Michael Davis, Lance and Celena Pate; and her bonus children Heather and Chris Jones; her grandchildren, Meghan and Dennis Turbyfill, Hallie and Dalton Eller, Lucas Walters, Sammy Walters, Hunter Davis, Grant Davis, Addyson Pate, Neelyn Pate, Ayden Jones and Lynlee Jones; and her great-grandbabies Sophia Turbyfill and Liam Turbyfill. She is also survived by her 4 siblings, Brenda Nelson of Martin; Tommy (Brenda) Hopper of Henderson; David (Jane) Hopper of Pillowville; and Don (Sheila) Hopper of Greenfield. 

Rose’s wish was to have an intimate graveside service with family only. It will be held at New Valley Cemetery on Saturday, January 28 at 10 a.m.
