HUNTINGDON (October 22) — Some rural residents have not had their solid waste (garbage) collected and disposed for three weeks after the independent contractor, Red River Waste Solutions, filed for bankruptcy. A solution might be on the horizon with Republic Services, a nationwide solid waste contractor with a branch operation in McKenzie.
