Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE - Services for Sandra Kay Pate, 74, are Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 am until service time. Mrs. Pate, an administrative assistant for 42 years with Tennova Healthcare at the hospital in McKenzie, died Monday, January 28, 2019 at St. Thomas Hospital-West in Nashville.
She was born on September 12, 1944 in McKenzie, Tenn. to J.B. and Erma Morris Rigsby. She was a member of McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, group leader for the Senior Circle, traveling the world over and a graduate of Henry High School in Henry. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Bryon Arnold Pate, Jr. of McKenzie, a daughter, Debbie Pate of McKenzie, a son, Doug (Valerie) Pate of Dresden, two sisters, Judy Presson and Patricia Turner both of McKenzie, and a granddaughter, Lauren Troutt.
Pallbearers who will be serving will be Butch Dowland, Marc Turner, Matthew Turner, Brian Arnold, Dale Garrett, and Darrell Blaylock.
