Stacey Savers and Lee Whitaker were married at 4 p.m. July 13, 2019 at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dyer, Tenn. Amy Thompson and Bro. Tony Smith officiated the beautiful ceremony. The reception was held at the Gibson County Golf Course.
Stacey is the daughter of Donald (Doris) Savers and Kathy Savers of McKenzie. She is the granddaughter of the late Bro. John Harris and Minnie Lou Adams, and the late Irvin and Mary Jane Savers, both of Martin.
Lee is the son of Chuck and Gaela Whitaker of Dyer. He is the grandson of David and Janice Potts and Patsy and the late Wendell Whitaker both of Gallatin, Tenn.
Lee 26, an alumnus of Gibson County High School, graduated from Bethel University, where he now is an assistant baseball coach.
Stacey, 33, an alumna of Westview High School, is a cosmetologist at Designing Women in McKenzie. They plan to reside in McKenzie.
They honeymooned on a cruise out of Puerto Rico visiting the islands on Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, and St. Maarten. Photo by Teddi Sue Photography. R1451.
