Driving on Revoked License — Brian Scott, 34, of Lavenia was charged for driving without a license.

On May 14, a traffic stop was conducted on a green 2009 Yamaha R70, for no registration. The driver, Brian Scott advised the officer he did not have a license. Dispatch confirmed the license was revoked for a prior DUI. Scott advised the officer that his father knew he had the vehicle, due to it being in his father’s name. Officers asked Scott to call his father to the scene. Once his father was on the scene, he was advised the vehicle would be seized based on his son having a revoked license from a prior DUI.

Intoxication, Assault — Michael S. Rhines, 22, of Hollow Rock was charged with public intoxication and simple assault.

On May 17, officers responded to an assault in regards to Michael Rhines, the defendant. The victim stated Rhines showed up at his house demanding to speak with the victim’s daughter. Rhines was asked to leave several times and even tried to push his way into the house, causing the victim to fall to the floor during the incident. Bruceton Police managed to detain Rhines until the Sheriff’s Department arrived. Rhines was under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest.

Drug Violations — Ralph L. Dennie Jr., 19, of McKenzie was charged with contraband in a penal institute.

On May 14, a strip search was conducted for normal procedure of the booking stage when Ralph Dennie dropped an item on the floor. The item was believed to be a marijuana blunt.
