Sheriff's Reports

Posted

DUI — Douglas Eugene Marshall, 55, of Huntingdon, was arrested for DUI on January 1. Deputy Daniel Thomas observed a blue Jeep that he suspected had a driver impaired behind the wheel. The driver, Douglas Marshall, smelled of alcohol and refused to do any field sobriety tests. He was then placed under arrest for DUI.

Animals at Large — On December 27, Rebecca Rose from McKenzie called the Sheriff’s office to report that the neighbor’s goats were in her yard. When the deputies arrived, there were several goats in the yard. The goats belonged to Richard Heflin from McKenzie. Mr. Helfin was issued a citation for allowing animals to run at large since this has been an ongoing issue.
