Theft — On 12/17/22, Deputy Mulligan responded to an address in reference to a theft in a motor vehicle. Upon his arrival, Ms. Smith advised the officer that it happened the previous night, someone had entered several vehicles in the driveway of the residence. During the time of the report, an apple iPad Air and a Lulu Lemon gray in color are the only things reported as missing.
 
Property Damage — On 12/18/22, Officers responded to a call in reference to a residence on Hwy 114 being broken into. Officers noticed damage to the back door, as if it was pried open. The locks were also torn off the storage building. Nothing was reported missing at this time. The damage to the property is estimated to $500.
 
Identity Theft — On 12/19/22, Roberta and Melissa Lange reported forgery and gave bank statements showing three checks used without their consent. The total of the checks was $1,242.98 at three locations. A credit card was also discovered with several charges to the account.
 
Other Charges — Chaz M. Richmeier, 28, of McKenzie was charged with violation of order granting bail. 
 
On 12/10/22, the victim reported Richmeier called her three times from jail after being arrested for domestic assault against her. Richmeier did sign an order granting bail stating he is not to contact Goodwin for any reason. 
 
Multiple Arrest — James K. Gorey, 39, of McKenzie was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Michael Ray O’Daniel, 40, of Paris was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule II meth, and driving on revoked.
 
On 12/18/22, Deputy Scott stopped a vehicle for the registered owner having a suspended license. The driver, Michael O’Daniel, stated he did not have a license and gave the officers consent to search the vehicle. Officers located two glass pipes with residue and two needles that tested positive for meth. Glass pipes were found on the passenger, James Gorey’s, side of the vehicle. Both individuals denied the paraphernalia. O’Daniel had a revoked drivers license out of Henry Co. with no reinstatement date. 
 
Credit Card Fraud — On 12/20/22, April Owens stated someone used her checking account spending a total of $169.72. Owens stated she had an email from a company called mobilized electronics.
