Domestic Disturbance — On March 3 at 11:04 p.m. deputies were dispatched to Johnson St. in Trezevant for a possible domestic disturbance. Upon arrival Deputy Sean Bongiovanni heard a female in distress as he approached the door. She was yelling,” Get away from me and help.”

As he entered the room, he observed Juan A . Cruz, 50, exiting the bedroom where the victim, was sitting.

The deputy was advised by the victim that both had been drinking and gotten into an argument. She said that after pushing his chair, that Cruz had struck her in the face, chest and arm that left visible marks.

The deputy arrested Cruz and charged him with Domestic Assault.

On the way to the Carroll County jail, Cruz made threats to Bongiovanni, kicked the cage of the patrol car and struck his head against the cage and sustained a minor laceration between his eyes.

Burglary — Gavin Clay Rosson, 24, who was homeless, was charged with Public Intoxication, Vandalism and Aggravated Burglary on March 4 following an incident on Leeford Rd. in Cedar Grove.

According to Deputy Ryan W. Hamilton’s report, the Sheriff’s Department received a call that a man, who was identified as Rosson, had broken into a home at that address and was taking a shower when the resident arrived home. The resident said that Rosson broke a $1,000 back door entering the residence that was being repaired. Rosson was later located at 4430 Highway 70 in Cedar Grove by Hamilton. Rosson, who appeared to be under the influence of some kind of narcotic, admitted that he had smoked meth that morning.

He was arrested and transported to the jail where he was charged.

Domestic Assault — On March 4, Kimberlee Mariee Arnold, 34, of Trezevant was charged with Domestic Assault following an argument and scratching the face of a male room mate.

Deputy Dillon Crow went to Atwood St. In Trezevant at 5:40 p.m. where he met with the male victim, 62, who told him that he and Arnold, his room mate, had gotten into a verbal argument after which she grabbed him by the throat, scratching his cheek and ear.

Break-In — Deputy Grant Davis investigated a burglary/breaking and entering at Dallas Brent Baker’s residence at 420 Thompson Rd, McKenzie on March 4.

Baker, 34, told Davis, who was dispatched to the residence at 12:20 p.m., that said he left the residence on March 2 and returned home on March 4 and found that his residence had been burglarized. He found the house in disarray and items scattered throughout the house. The only item he found missing was a blue/white power drill valued at approximately $40. There were no signs of forced entry.
