Multiple Charges — Shaquise Long, 30, for McKenzie was charged with Driving under the Influence, Child Endangerment, and Driving on Revoked.

On May 6, Deputy Scott responded to a call in reference to a vehicle in a ditch. Upon arrival he made contact with Shaquise Long, the driver. Long stated she had two beers and several shots of tequila. Long’s license was revoked. She performed poorly on the field sobriety test and was arrested. There was also a two-year-old child in the vehicle during this time.

Domestic Assault — Mackenzie Ray Plunkett, 24, of Bruceton was arrested for Domestic Assault.

On May 8, dispatch received a call in reference to a domestic. The victim stated she confronted her husband when he got upset and threw her down and began choking her. He was arrested and taken to jail in Carroll County.

Aggravated Assault — Nathaniel Brett, 23, of Beech Bluff was charged with Aggravated Assault. On May 7, a call was received in reference to an assault. The victim stated Nathaniel Brett attacked him. The victim was transported to the hospital and transported to Memphis for further medical care. Brett stated the victim threw a pair of keys, hitting an eight-month-old infant in the face. This caused Brett to get upset so he began fighting with the victim. The incident was caught on camera at the residence.

Vandalism of Property — On May 11, officers responded to a call in reference to vandalism by a possible side- by-side ATV. The complainant stated he noticed a gate in the fence had been driven over.

Multiple Charges — Brandon Todd Huss, 29, of Huntingdon was charged with Driving under the Influence and Drug/Narcotic violations.

On May 9, officers responded to an individual asleep behind the wheel at an intersection. Officers located Brandon Huss, sleeping. He was given a standard field sobriety test, which he performed poorly on. He refused to give blood once they arrived at BMH.

Multiple Charges — Mayson Price, 25, of Trezevant was charged with a DUI and Violation of Implied Consent.

On May 5, officers responded to a wreck with no injuries. Upon the officer’s arrival, they located Mayson Price. Price stated he fell asleep behind the wheel while driving and ran off the road. Officers could smell an intoxicating odor, allowing a field sobriety test to be performed. He performed poorly on it, and also refused to give a breath/ blood sample.
