Vehicle Theft — Deputies are investigating the recent theft of a vehicle from private property in Hollow Rock.
Lindsay Brooke Townes told deputies that sometime between around 8 p.m. on April 25 and 5:30 a.m. on April 26 someone came on her property on High Street and took her beige 2004 GMC four-door truck from her driveway without her permission. She said she had left the keys in the vehicle and that a friend’s shotgun had been in the back seat. The report noted deputies in Henry County found the vehicle wrecked at around 4:30 a.m. on April 26.
License Violation — Joshua Hollingsworth, 24, of Camden was cited for driving on a suspended license by Deputy Michael Sevarns during an April 25 traffic stop after Sevarns observed a Chevy Silverado driven by Hollingsworth fail to come to a complete stop at the intersection of Butler School Road and Highway 70. A computer check showed Hollingsworth’s license was suspended.
Disorderly Conduct — Christopher Joe Hillard, 41, of 200 South Dodd Street, Hollow Rock, was arrested for disorderly conduct on April 24.
Deputy Scotty Davis reported that deputies responded to Hillard’s residence after receiving a call about a man lying on the ground. Deputies found Hillard covered in mud and having difficulty breathing. He also appeared to be intoxicated and was speaking non-sensically. Hillard was transported by ambulance to the Baptist Emergency Room in Huntingdon, where he became uncooperative with medical staff. Hillard was then arrested for his own safety and the safety of others.

Break-In — Deputy Frank McGee reported on April 17 that a residence on Maple Lake Road in Westport was broken into when an unknown person kicked in the front door and entered the residence. Pictures were obtained showing a suspect in and around the house, and deputies were still trying to identify this person at the time of the report.
Burglary — Deputies are investigating the recent burglary of a Bruceton residence.
Omar Ridley told deputies on April 18 that he had just come home from church to his residence on Bobbitt Road and found that his front door had been pried open and that a pry bar had been left on his bed. According to a neighbor, a blue Chevrolet S-10 was seen going up the driveway toward the residence and then leaving. Reported as stolen from the residence were a SIG P265 nine-millimeter handgun valued at $450, a 1911 45 handgun valued at $450, $12,000 in U.S. currency, and a safe valued at $150.
Felony Evading, Drugs — Chad Ryan Depriest, 44, of 1126 Green Oak Drive, Huntingdon, was charged with felony evading, reckless driving, and possession of methamphetamine following an April 18 police pursuit.
According to the report by Deputy Michael Smith, he and Deputy Dakota Meier attempted to pull over a tan Jeep driven by Depriest on Highway 79 in Trezevant because of knowledge of an active warrant against Depriest. When Depriest refused to stop, deputies pursued the vehicle 20 miles into Weakley County. At one point, Depriest left the vehicle at a church and fled into the woods on foot. Depriest was found a short time later and placed under arrest. A plastic bag containing a substance that field-tested positive for meth was found in Depriest’s possession.
