Warrants — Warrants for aggravated assault, burglary, and theft of property under $1,000 were issued against Justin Lee Oliver, 33, of 95 Hurt Street, Trezevant, following a recent incident in Trezevant.
According to the report by Deputy Michael Sevarns, Richard Mitchell told deputies on May 14 he found Oliver inside his shed behind his home at 185 Hurt Street. Mitchell said Oliver had a wallet belonging to his wife, and he found an antique clock had been moved from inside his house and placed outside. Deputies determined Oliver, who was no longer on the property when deputies arrived, must have been inside Mitchell’s home before Mitchell found him in the shed.
Burglary — Deputy Christopher Adams took a report on May 19 that items had been stolen from a residence at 165 Hurt Street in Trezevant, including two claw hammers valued at $20 and a shop vacuum valued at $150.
Vehicle Theft — James Pope told deputies on May 18 someone took his 2008 Chevrolet 3500 box truck valued at $18,000 from where it had been parked at the site of the Tri-County Fair at 1315 Rimmer Road near Atwood sometime between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. that morning.
Pope described the truck as having a lime green cab and a white box with a Pope’s Concessions logo on it. Kimberly Karkozi of McKenzie also reported that someone took $1,000 from her room at the fairgrounds at around that same time. The truck was located in Arkansas.
