Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE — Funeral services for Shirley June McDaniel are Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and Wednesday 12 p.m. until service time. Burial is at Hopewell Cemetery, Gleason. Brother Tony Terrell is the officiant.
Mrs. McDaniel, 82, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Weakley County Nursing Home. She was born June 15, 1937 in Gleason, Tenn. to J.P. and Birdie Buton Bradberry Sawyers.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Lynn Hatley (Jeff) of Gleason, two sons Michael Edward McDaniel (Cindy) of McKenzie and Mark Ray McDaniel of McKenzie, six sisters Doris Damesworth, Lucille Winstead, Mary Ann Reynolds, Vicki Middleton (Mike), Judy Hopper (Jim) and Janice Gross (John), one brother Lowell Sawyers, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Edward McDaniel a sister, May Nell Sawyers and brother, Richard Sawyers.
