MCKENZIE, Tenn. – Bethel Softball Coach John Weeks announced this week the signing of Lauren Reimsnyder of Belleview, Florida. Lauren is the daughter of Brad and Jennifer Reimsnyder of Belleview and will major in Biology (Pre-Med).

Reimsynder has been a three-year varsity starter at Belleview High School where she helped lead her team to an undefeated season and a number one ranking (4A) in the state. The team was ranked No. 24 in the nation. Lauren won the Heart and Hustle Award.  She also has been a major performer with the Guardians Gold 18 U travel ball squad playing for Coach Chrissy Dushane in Brookville, Florida.

Off the diamond, Lauren has excelled in the classroom being named a three year Academic All-Conference standout. She captured the BHS Citizen Scholar-Athlete Award and is a member of the National Honor Society. She served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Council and has been a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at BHS.

Lauren feels her biggest strengths are her desire to improve, her motivation, leadership and work ethic.

She hopes to improve on allowing herself to play the game, rather than overthink things on and off the field. She looks forward to growing her relationship with the Lord.

Coach Weeks expressed his excitement about the signing. “Lauren will be a great addition to our pitching staff. Her velocity and ball movement will make her very competitive here. Her work ethic and values make her a welcomed addition to our Bethel family.”
