Spayghetti Dinner to Benefit Humane Society

Posted

The Carroll County Humane Society announced a fundraiser on Friday, June 25, at the Carroll County Civic Center in Huntingdon beginning at 6 p.m. CCHS is approved for matching grants to fund community dog spays and neuters.

“Spayghetti” dinners include a plate of spaghetti, bread, and a drink for $8 per adult and $5 per child 10 and under. To-go plates are available. Bingo begins at 6:30 p.m. Cards are 50 cents each. Daubers are $1 each or bring your own. Grand prize is a $100 Walmart gift card. A concession stand with popcorn, candy, drinks, etc. is also available.

A cake walk will be held for the chance to win delicious homemade desserts or other prizes. Tickets for the cake walk are $1 each.

To help with this event, you can donate baked goods, two-liter sodas, canned beverages, bottled water, spaghetti noodles, pasta sauce, ground beef, Parmesan cheese, rolls or bingo prizes. Monetary donations can be made to CCHS to be used for spay and neuter.

Masks are optional, and there is plenty of room to practice social distancing.

The staff at CCHS thanks you for the support and hopes to see you there.
