SSAC End-Of-Year Award Winners Announced

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The Southern States Athletic Conference released the 2018-19 end-of-year award winners Sunday at the SSAC Awards Banquet, presented by MMI Dining.
Bethel’s Malissa Vaughn was named the SSAC Faculty Athletic Representative of the Year. Vaughn has served as FAR for the last 14 seasons.
SSAC Commissioner Mike Hall: “She is without any doubt one of the leading administrators within the SSAC. It is very obvious that she loves students and working with them to achieve their academic and life-long goals.”

Bethel President Dr. Walter Butler: “Mrs. Vaughn has an impeccable reputation and rapport with faculty, students and staff while serving as liaison between intercollegiate athletics and academics. She exhibits character, integrity and morals while performing her duties.”
Mrs. Vaughn said, “I am honored to receive this award. There are many others who are certainly worthy as well. I am blessed to work with everyone at Bethel, the SSAC and the NAIA.” 
Bethel’s Mrs. Beth Sisson, Instructor of Education was named to the SSAC All-Faculty team.
