Taylor Seeks County Commissioner Seat

Posted

My name is Bertha Taylor. I am seeking County Commissioner in District 2. I am a resident of Trezevant, Tenn. in the Wingo community. I should be a familiar name to you. I have 41 years experience as an employee and county official.

For twelve years, I was elected as the Circuit Court Clerk, where I was responsible for all court records, juvenile, general sessions and circuit court. I worked with parents processing child support payments, with judges, attorneys and officers issuing and filing warrants, traffic cases along with small claims. In each of these activities, I always tried to serve the need of the public with compassion, understanding and integrity.

I am seeking the County Commissioner seat to be a public servant. With all the federal funds being issued to our country, I would like to have an input as to some of the allocation such as resurfacing our roads, broadening and improving Internet service, implementing tornado warnings and extending natural gas availability.

One special need is finding a solution when residents of Wingo and other communities are blocked from outside access when the railroad trains encircle both crossings.

I feel my 41 years of experience with the county gives me a unique advantage to bring rural vision to District 2.

I am asking for your vote and support.

Thank you.

Paid for by the candidate.
