TCAT-McKenzie Hosts Food Drive

Posted

Tennessee College of Applied Technology at McKenzie hosted its annual food drive for the local United Neighbors of Carroll County. The school held a competition between classes to see which class could raise the most cans. This year Automotive Technology, led by their instructor Dan Townsend, was the first place winners with a total of 70 cans per student, which totaled 851 cans. The classes donated over 2,000 cans, which will be distributed back into the Carroll County community through the United Neighbors program. TCAT McKenzie administrators and staff thanks all the classes and instructors for their participation. We are extremely proud of the students, faculty, and staff for their help in making this year’s food drive successful. For more information about the programs offered at TCAT McKenzie call 731-352-5364. New classes begin January 6.
