TCAT McKenzie Presents Recent Graduates

The Fall trimester at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at McKenzie ended with graduation on December 18. The ceremony was at McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and led by Dr. Bradley White, president. The guest speaker for the ceremony was Carroll Bank and Trust President, Mark Warren. Mark’s life is centered on his strong ties to the community, his faith, and his family. He is married to Jill Warren, a long time McKenzie school teacher; and father of four children, Laura, Matt, Sarah, and Lydia. He is a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he has served in many leadership roles. He graduated McKenzie High School in 1981 and attended The University of Tennessee at Martin’s Agricultural Business program where he graduated in 1987. He began work that same year at Carroll Bank and Trust. He serves as the city president of the McKenzie branch.
A total of 29 students participated in the Fall 2019 Graduation Ceremony. The students who completed requirements for certificate or diploma levels are: Administrative Office Technology (AOT) — Hannah Torres from Martin; Automotive Technology (AUTO) — Jesse Bell from McKenzie; HVAC/Refrigeration (HVAC/R) — Blake Garner from Cottage Grove, Dusty Griffin from Milan, Brady Knott from Buchanan, Colin Nunn from Dover, Dylan Powell from Stewart, Austin Prater from Huntingdon; Industrial Maintenance Integrated Automation (IM) — Joshua Crocker from McKenzie, Evan Harrison from Paris, Ty Hendrix from Yuma, Blaine Lee from Gleason, Heath Smith from Greenfield, Dustin Wade from Huntingdon, Bailee Webb from Yuma; Information Technology Systems Management (ITSM) — Katherine Browning-Blaylock from Gleason Machine Tool (MT) — Alex Bertino from McKenzie and Joshua Thomas from New Johnsonville; Welding — Jared Ackroyd from Paris, Cody Bates from Paris, Houston Brunmeier from Martin, Tavis Bryson Jr. from Milan, Ben Colvett from Huntingdon, Logan Gantt from Huntingdon, Blake Mills from Greenfield, Rusty Sawyers from Dresden, Elcana Williams from Paris; Welding Weakley County — Steven Boone from Huntingdon and Hendrix Taylor from Martin. Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the graduates and their families was held.
