Ted Finley

Mr. Teddy Eugene Finley, 76, of McKenzie, Tennessee died Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday, August 16, 2020 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. John Forgy officiating. Interment will follow in Finley Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Sunday, 11 a.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Jeffery Finley, Michael Finley, Eugene Finley, Austin Pratt, Brian Pratt and Billy McAttee.

Honorary pallbearers to serve are Kellen Finley, Collins Finley, Janna Pratt, Savannah Pratt and Autumn Pratt.

Mr. Finley was born April 4, 1944 in McKenzie, Tennessee to the late James Sherrel Finley and Wilma Maxie (Pryor) Finley. He was a member of McKenzie Church of Christ, served on the Carroll County CO-OP Board of Directors and started the Macedonia Fire Department.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Ann Shappell, two brothers, James Wilce Finley and John Thomas Finley.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy McFadden Finley, a daughter, Jennifer Finley Pratt (Brian) of McKenzie, two sons, Jeffery L. Finley of Huntingdon and Michael Finley (Heather) of McKenzie, two sisters, Laura Welliver (Robert) of Marathon, Florida and Maxie Faye Veloz (Sam) of Pensacola, Florida, a brother, Bobby Finley (Diane) of Lansing, Michigan, seven grandchildren, Eugene Ray Finley, Janna Nell Pratt, Savannah Brooke Pratt, Austin Lynn Pratt, Autumn Leigh Pratt, Kellen, Michael Finley and Collins Case Finley, and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Rae Finley and Madeline Lee Finley.

Chase Funeral Home of Huntingdon had charge of arrangements.
