Three Dead In Madison County Crash

An early Sunday morning crash killed three persons on Highway 70 in Madison County.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, driven by John Rickman, 29, of Cedar Grovve was traveling eastbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a 2001 Chevy Lumina, driven by Jeffrey Ridgely, 45 of Lavinia. Both Rickman and Ridgely died.
Kenneth Erlitz, 19, of Jackson also died. He was a passenger in Ridgely’s vehicle. Injured were Ridgely’s passenger, Sydney Ridgely, who was treated at a Memphis hospital.
A memorial service is Friday, October 25, 3 p.m. at McLemoresville Baptist Church. For Ridgely.
