Weakley County Schools certainly has much to celebrate this year, and the latest news is no exception: three district schools – Dresden Elementary School, Gleason School, and Westview High School - have been named Tennessee Reward Schools by the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE). Based on data from the 2023-24 academic year, these schools have earned this recognition through outstanding performance according to the State’s strict scoring matrix. A Reward School ranking means that the school scored in the top 5% for achievement or growth on standardized tests.
