Carroll County Players Named to West Tennessee All-Stars

JACKSON — Six Carroll County players, along with a head coach, were named to the 2022 Sports Plus West Tennessee All-Star Roster.
 
Of the six county players, four are from McKenzie, one from Huntingdon, and one from West Carroll. The four Rebels include Zach Aird, Jackson Cassidy, Elijah Edmonson, and Zay Webber. Mustang Elijah Flowers and War Eagle Seth Edwards were both named All-Stars. McKenzie Head Coach Wade Comer will be coaching one of the two teams in this contest.
 
Other schools represented in this All-Star game include; Henry County, Dresden, Humboldt, Haywood, Lake County, Dyersburg, South Side, Jackson Christian, Peabody, North Side, Adamsville, South Gibson, Middleton, USJ, Milan, TCA, Union City, Obion County, Ripley, Lexington, Riverside, Crockett County, Hardin County, Bolivar, and Westview. 
 
The West Tennessee All-Star Game is an annual game featuring the best of the best from West Tennessee. It will be held Friday, December 9 at USJ at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 at the gate.
