McKENZIE — Private Graveside services for William “Bill” Clayton Adams are Tuesday April 21, 2020 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Adams, 90, died at Christian Care Center, McKenzie on April 19, 2020. He is a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and he retired from the State of Tenn. Highway Department, where he was a heavy machine operator. He was born November 30, 1929 in Gleason, Tenn. to Ernest and Flossie Holland Adams.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Margie Ingram Adams of McKenzie, two daughters, Cathy (Dan) Cochran of Smyrna, Georgia and Becky (Mike) Hagler of McKenzie and one son, Mike (Debra) Adams of Powder Springs, Georgia, one brother, Dr. Wray (Shirley) Adams of Gleason, seven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
