HUNTINGDON (July 26) — After some animated discussion regarding Mayor Dale Kelley’s recommendation of Angela DeMaris to become executive director of the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center, the council voted 4-3 to approve her for the position. DeMaris was serving as Director of Operations but had also been unofficially doing the theater director’s duties as well after Lori Nolen resigned.
