HUNTINGDON (June 2) — With a combined 88 years of service, Mike Williams and Danny Brawner were both honored Thursday, June 2 for their service to Carroll County Electric Department. Both were in leadership of the utility company.

Nikolas Heath of McKenzie is one of the two interns from the University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM) selected by L.I. Smith & Associates (LIS) for the summer term. The interns will learn from experienced industry professionals while gaining hands-on experience in their chosen fields of study.

Fresh from finishing her doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Dr. Katelyn Ridley Robertson is returning to Carroll County to begin her practice at Webb Dental Clinic in Huntingdon. A Carroll County native, Dr. Robertson is ready to serve alongside her lifelong dentist Dr. Billy Webb.

MARTIN (May 24) — Auria McClerking, of Huntingdon, and Audrie Washburn, of McKenzie, recently completed the University of Tennessee at Martin Veterinary Health Technology Program’s academic requirements. The two are now qualified to complete a six-week field internship with a veterinary clinic or research facility.

PARIS (May 23) — Austin (AJ) Maxwell, a Survey Technician at L.I. Smith and Associates (LIS), received the Tennessee Association of Professional Surveyors (TAPS) Student of the Year Award. Maxwell received this award on March 4.
