Harassment — On August 28, the victim of harassment phoned Carroll County Sheriff’s Department in regards to Joseph Samual Anderson, 37, calling and texting her when she had asked him to stop. Deputy James M. Boaz advised Anderson to quit contacting the victim. On September 7, Deputy Boaz spoke to the victim again where she stated that Mr. Anderson had not stopped texting and trying to call her. She then sent proof to the deputy by showing text messages and phone calls that were time stamped through e-mail. Mr. Anderson was then charged with harassment.

DUI — Officer Trenton Ruddy was on patrol shortly before 1 a.m. June 25 on South Main Street when he observed a black truck stuck on the train tracks. Upon investigating the incident, Monica Davenport claimed she was driving and was blinded by vehicle lights causing the accident. Ruddy also noticed Roger Hollowell, 40, of Huntingdon, was in the vehicle and appeared to be intoxicated, smelled of alcohol, and had bloodshot eyes.

Aggravated Child Abuse — Felicia Elen Sarkozi, 32, McKenzie, and Robert C. Warren, Jr., 47, McKenzie, were arrested on outstanding Child Abuse warrants on April 22.

Speeding and Driving on Revoked License — Timmy Aderinoye, 20, was arrested on April 21 for speeding and driving on a revoked license. Sgt. Tony King witnessed a vehicle going 70 in a 55 MPH zone and after conducting a traffic stop the driver was found to have a suspended license. The defendant was given a 10 day booking notice.

Drug Violation — Wendy Love Calderon, 49, of McKenzie, concealed a hydrocodone pill in a clear plastic bag inside of her arm sling and brought the item into the jail. Jail staff discovered the pill during the defendants initial booking into the jail for her weekend time to serve.
