Christmas Greetings Inside, Early Deadline Next Two Weeks

Christmas is less than a week away! Christmas and New Year’s fall on Mondays this year. Our normal deadline and press time are on Monday, which means early deadlines for the next two editions. The deadline for the December 26 edition is Friday, December 22 at NOON. Deadline for the January 2 edition is Friday, December 29 at NOON. The Banner office will be closed on Monday, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Thank you for allowing our staff this time with their families.

We will reopen Tuesday, December 26 and January 2 and resume our regular schedule.

The newspaper is printed at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and is available after 1 p.m. locally. The online edition is available by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Mailed editions are available on Wednesdays locally. Out of area mailed editions may be delayed due to peak demand of the postal service. Please be patient with the mail carriers.

Christmas Edition Inside
Inside this edition you will find the much anticipated Christmas Greetings Special Edition that includes letters from area children to Santa Claus as well as holiday recipes and coverage from holiday events. The edition is 24 pages in two parts, with most letters appearing in the second half of the section. Please let us know if you are missing part of the edition or would like extra copies.
