According to the UT Horse website, the driving force behind the Tennessee Master Horse Program (TMHP) is to raise the level of education and improve overall success of horse owners and producers within the state.

This is an incredible feat considering that the average marathon time for men is approximately 4 hours and 21 minutes, and for women is around 4 hours and 48 minutes.
