Mc Kenzie, TNInglenook Book Club held its monthly meeting on October 11, 2023, at 3 p.m., at Lakeside Senior Living Community, McKenzie. There were 16 members in attendance. President Moore called the meeting to order, and thanked her co-hostess, Victoria Ard for assisting her serving delicious carrot cake and chocolate cake, along with candy corn/peanut medley, and assorted beverages. The Pledge of Allegiance, Club Aim and Club Motto were recited by all. We had two guests present at the meeting-relative to member Jean McKinnie, and our local librarian-Ceil Pomphrey, who spoke to the group. Thank you was extended to telephone chair, Victoria Ard, for her calling to all members reminding about the meeting.
