Mc Kenzie, TNMcKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Mrs. Iris Brashear Hubbard are Friday, September 8, 2023, at 3 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Friday, 11 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hubbard, 77, died Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Jackson General Hospital.
She had her Master of Education degree and was an educator at various locations. She was a member of First Presbyterian U.S.A.
She is survived by her husband, Reverend Doctor Julius Pratt Hubbard of McKenzie, two sons, Lt. Colonial Julius Pratt (Jay) Hubbard, III of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and Edward Augustine Hubbard of Henry, a sister, Joy Brashear of McKenzie, two grandchildren, Autumn Sky Hubbard and Melanie Grace Brewer.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Annabelle Gatley and brother, Ed Brashear
