Mc Kenzie, TNMEMPHIS, formerly of McKenzie - Services for James Edward Fitzgerald, 76, are Saturday, February 11, 2023 at noon at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Reverend John Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2023, 11 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Fitzgerald, a factory employee of Osram-Sylvania in Memphis, died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. He was born on January 2, 1947 in McKenzie, Tennessee to James and Callie Mae Williams Fitzgerald. He was a member of Upper Room Church in Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Erma Bass Fitzgerald of Memphis, four brothers, and their wives, Earl (Mary) Fitzgerald of Memphis, John (Judy) Fitzgerald of Michigan, Ernest (Shannon) Fitzgerald of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Jimmy (Dallas) Fitzgerald of Georgia.
