McKenzie, Tenn.  - Funeral services for Joe Tegethoff are Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 11  a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Wednesday, 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery McKenzie.

Mr. Tegethoff, 85, died Saturday, September 30, 2023 at his residence. He was born on June 4, 1938 to Robert and Susie White Tegethoff.

He is survived by his daughters, Andrea (Charles Mitchell) Pillow of Trezevant and Janet (Michael) Peyton of Symsonia, Kentucky, two sons, Terry (Velda) Tegethoff and John Tegethoff, all of McKenzie, a brother, Charles Tegethoff of McKenzie, nine grandchildren, Candy (Josh) Lowe, Amanda (Joel) Pate, Erin (Kevin) Ramsey, Amber Griffin, Peyton Hollingsworth, Kenzie Peyton, Audrey Peyton, Courtney (Andy) Chaney and Hunter (Morgan) Allen, fourteen great-grandchildren, Lilly Ruesken, Gavin Hicks, Greyson Lowe, Nathan Lowe, Willow Pate, Sophie Pate, Olivia Kay Pate, Jaden Pate, Emitt Ramsey, Ashton Campbell, Brooklynn Campbell, Bentley Chaney, Jagger Chaney and Topanga Allen and two great-great-grandchildren, Serenity Pittman and Marshall Pittman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Betty Crocker, Wyvonne, Rogers, a brother, Billy Tegethoff and a great-grandson, Drake Pate.
