Phil Burroughs Chandler

HENDERSONVILLE, TENN., formerly of McKenzie Tenn. - Graveside funeral services for Phil Burroughs Chandler, 75, were Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 1 p.m. at Union Academy Baptist Church Cemetery located on Highway 436.  Interment followed the services.

The family received friends at the cemetery just before the service at the cemetery.  Mr. Chandler, a rubber chemist for Goodyear Tire and later Pirelli Tire, died Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Adoration Hospice American Home in Hendersonville.  He was born on November 17, 1946 in McKenzie, Tenn. to Albert Burroughs and Ophie Bush Chandler. He was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church and a former member of Union Academy Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Survivors include two sons, Jay Chandler and Brett Chandler, both of Hendersonville, and a cousin, Randall Chandler of Memphis, Tenn.
