Mc Kenzie, TNWilliam Denton, 30, of Atwood, was cited in the General Sessions for animal cruelty on November 2. Carroll County dispatch received a call for a dog on Christine St. in Atwood about having a plastic jug stuck on its head. When deputies arrived on scene, they witnessed a dog with a plastic water jug stuck on its head. The animals were also malnourished and appeared to not be receiving the proper amount of food and water to maintain correct body weight. The defendant admitted that the dogs were his.
