CARROLL COUNTY — Veterans are invited to a free breakfast at the Downtown Diner, McKenzie on Sunday, May 29, 7 a.m. The American Legion of McKenzie is hosting the event. Please RSVP to the Diner at 731-207-1313 to have an accurate count on attendees. Following the breakfast, veterans and other volunteers will place small American flags on the grave sites of veterans at local cemeteries.
