2026 Officers Elected for McKenzie High Alumni

McKENZIE (February 9) — The 2026 McKenzie High School Alumni Association officers were elected during a meeting Monday in the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.

The new officers are: President Betsy Hall Campbell (MHS Class of 1973), Vice President Ricky Price (1974), Secretary Karen Cobb Moore (1984) and Treasurer Lauren Hickman (2007).

A plaque was presented to Drew Beeler (2020) in appreciation of his service to the MHSAA as President.

The members of the MHSAA executive board are: Terry Howell (1969), Byran Rich (1973), Brad Camp (1983), Cheryl Oglesby-Townes (1988) and Lesa Hutcherson Roberson (1988).

The MHSAA learned the 2026 football homecoming is Friday, September 25 and is already planning events for the annual McKenzie High Decades Reunion weekend.

All alumni of MHS are encouraged to mark their calendars now, spread the word with classmates, and come home in September to reconnect with your McKenzie High family.

Any classes who are planning reunions in 2026 are encouraged to have their events that weekend.

Those celebrating milestone anniversaries include the years 1956, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, 1981, 1986, 1991, 1996, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021.

The MHSAA is happy to help spread the word on any reunions that will commence.
