PARIS (February) — The commercial building at the Henry County Fairgrounds was bustling with activity all morning Saturday with a huge crowd gathered for the 3rd annual ABLE Farms Pancake Breakfast. Kyle Stephens of ABLE Farms said 600 folks were served and they raised over $18,000. “We are deeply grateful for every person brought our way today! Whether you are a volunteer, parent, partner, and supporter who helps set the sails with us, your prayers, faithfulness, generosity, and presence matter more than you know.” A small army of volunteers were busy all morning, cooking and serving the breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausages, juice, coffee. ‘Willie’ the horse also was on hand to receive love from the visitors.

ABLE Farms is a still-under-construction therapeutic riding experience for kids and adults in Henry County and is located at 1100 Sulphur Well Academy Road. It’s the successor to the former Hoof Beats of Hope. The program slogan, “ABLE Stables, Where Hoof Beats of Hope are Heard!” says it all.
