Graveside services are 3 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025, at McAuley Cemetery in Buena Vista, Tennessee. Brother Joey Simmons officiating.
There will be no public visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Mrs. Alba was born December 26, 1933, in Westport, Tennessee, to the late Albert Simmons and Naioma Bailey Simmons. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Lomax.
She is survived by one brother, Bailey Simmons of Hollow Rock, Tennessee, along with several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
