From the Mar 4, 2025 e-EditionMcKENZIE — Funeral services for Aldred Kent Johnson are Friday, March 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Interment is at Union Academy Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson, 65, died on February 28, 2025, at Baptist Hospital Carroll Co. He was born on July 27, 1959, to Troy Coolidge Johnson and Wilma Vonnelle Coleman Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Shepherd Johnson of McKenzie, a sister, Janie (Joe) Daniel of Jackson, three brothers, Wilfred C (Sue) Johnson of Enville, Winfred R. Johnson of Memphis and Wreford (Stephanie) Johnson of Memphis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Adam Johnson and brother, Alfred T. Johnson.
