Anna Claire Weatherford Receives Scholarship

PARIS — The Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation announced Anna Claire Weatherford, a graduate of McKenzie High School, as the recipient of the 2025 McLean-Pedersen Endowment Scholarship. Anna Claire will attend Jackson State Community College in the fall. Anna plans to obtain an Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology. She plans to pursue her career in Carroll, Henry or Weakley County and remain close to home. Her long-term goal is to obtain certification to become an MRI Technologist.
The McLean-Pedersen Endowment Scholarship was created to support McKenzie High School graduates pursuing careers in healthcare. The scholarship totals $6,000, distributed over four years at $1,500 per year. Eligible fields of study include nursing, radiology, paramedic training, physical therapy technology, and respiratory technology.
Anna Claire Weatherford was selected based on her academic excellence, strong character, and desire to make a difference through a career in healthcare. Her dedication to helping others and her commitment to her future goals make her an ideal recipient of this award.
To remain eligible for the scholar Anna Claire Weatherford Receives McLean-Pedersen Scholarship ship, recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75 throughout their college career, ensuring continued focus and academic success.
The Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation extends its congratulations to Anna Claire Weatherford.
