Baptist Carroll County Gets Gold Seal From American College of Radiology
From the Mar 4, 2025 e-EditionHUNTINGDON (February 26) — The American College of Radiology awarded Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County the gold seal of accreditation, which represents the highest level of imaging quality.
“The gold seal of accreditation from the American College of Radiology highlights Baptist Carroll County’s commitment to providing excellent care to patients,” said Susan Breeden, CEO and administrator of Baptist Carroll County. “Our radiology team is second to none, and I appreciate the expertise they provide and the comfort that offers our patients.”
The American College of Radiology gold seal of accreditation is a three-year accreditation awarded to facilities meeting specific requirements based on the American College of Radiology Practice Parameters and Technical Standards. Board-certified physicians and medical physicists assess image quality, personnel qualifications, and adequacy of facility equipment, quality control procedures and quality assurance programs.
The hospital receives the peer-reviewed report and can use it for continuous practice improvement.

Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient medical care to West Tennessee in a variety of specialized areas, including cardiac care, pediatrics, general surgery, physical therapy and palliative care, among others.
The 70-bed facility is located in Huntingdon, Tennessee, and offers advanced medical technology, such as 3D mammography and the Baptist TeleHealth Center, which uses TeleGuardian.
