Black Bear Spotted in Piney Campground Area

LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES (February 20) — The Piney Campground area in the Land Between the Lakes had a visit from a black bear and LBL officials said this morning that’s not as uncommon as you might think. “While we think a couple pass through each year, we don’t always get a glimpse of them. A hunter’s trail cam caught this guy wandering near Piney Campground and the Fort Henry Trail System” in Stewart County. “Please be aware of wildlife when hiking or recreating on the southern end”, they said.
