McKENZIE — The Bella Barn of West Tennessee is closing its doors after 12 years. On Monday, May 18, owner and manager Patty Beck shared her decision to sell the beloved property. She said the new owners will not continue with the venue.

Originally used as a shop and storage for Beck's hay and farm supplies, The Bella Barn of West Tennessee, nicknamed "The Bella Barn," became the place where many West Tennessee couples shared their vows, said "I do" and shared their first moments as newlyweds.

Beck purchased the 33-acre property — an Amish farm and ranch — in 2005. The property included a 1940s barn, kept in its original state.

Beck decided to add onto the existing barn in 2014, creating a rustic-style venue for weddings, parties and other celebrations. She found inspiration for multiple ceremony sites on the property and groomed the grounds to make her visions into reality. She built bold fencing, arches and gates to create a beautiful atmosphere. All the while, her horses still roamed the field.

Beck also implemented a Bridal Suite, which was once an apartment designed for use when her family visited town.

Selling The Bella Barn was a hard decision for Beck, she said, but "doing so gives [her] the opportunity to move onto new opportunities … with [her] family."

Beck thanked everyone who loved The Bella Barn through the years.

"It has been a wonderful blessing for me to own a little slice of heaven and to be there for all of you that chose The Bella Barn for your special day," Beck said.

The Bella Barn of West Tennessee property, located at 360 Blooming Grove S, McKenzie, Tenn. 38201, sold on May 8, 2026.
