From the Dec 10, 2024 e-EditionHUNTINGDON - Mrs. Bertie Lou Warbritton, 90, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Saturday, November 30, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Huntingdon Church of Christ. The interment was in Sellers Hill Cemetery, with Todd Buttrey officiating.
Mrs. Warbritton was born October 6, 1934 to the late Vera Springer and Bennie Collins. She was a Huntingdon Church of Christ member for most of her life. Mrs. Warbritton worked for the Bank of Huntingdon for over forty years, retiring from there as a personnel director and trust officer.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Warbritton; sister, Yevonne McCaslin; and grandson, Josh Rainey.
She is survived by her two children: daughter, Gina Rainey of Huntingdon, Tennessee and son, Barry Warbritton of Asheville, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Sellers Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund in care of First Bank -Huntingdon.
