Bethel University Begins Fall Semester in August

Move-in begins Thursday, August 14, and kicks off orientation week for freshmen. That night, freshmen will gather at the Quad for the annual “BU Hangout.”
Orientation officially starts on August 15 with registration beginning at 9 a.m. at the Dickey Fine Arts Building. The orientation opening ceremony is at 9:30 a.m. with a campus tour following at 11 a.m. At noon, the freshman students will have a lunch break at the Cafe. More activities begin at 2 p.m. with STAR Time, which lasts until 4:30 p.m. Dinner is at 5:30 at the Cafe. STAR Time continues at 7 p.m., and games and hangout time follow at 8 p.m.
Orientation festivities continue on August 16. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., students will get a proper introduction to McKenzie. At 2 p.m., they will watch and participate in freshman skits. Finally, the Freshman Fair begins at 5 p.m.
Orientation week concludes on August 17 with a worship service at 10 a.m.
Classes for new and returning Bethel students begin on August 18.
