Bethel Honors 2024 Homecoming Court

Bethel University presented the 2024 Homecoming Royalty Court during halftime of the Bethel football game on Saturday, November 2.
Representing the freshman class were Brooklyn McDowell and Walker Ward. Brooklyn McDowell is a freshman from Gleason, majoring in Interdisciplinary Elementary Education (K-5), and is the daughter of Jonathan McDowell and Lindsay and Nicky Jackson. Christopher Walker Ward is a freshman from Bedford Indiana, majoring in business management, and is the son of Mandy and Chris Ward.
Representing the Sophomore class was Addie Roberson. Addie Roberson is a sophomore from Dyer County, majoring in Elementary Education. She is the daughter of Randy Shane and Wendi Roberson. Escorting Addie was SGA representative, Trevor Scott.
The junior class representatives were Brody Herrman and Jada Wynn. Brody Herman is a junior from Utica, New York, majoring in exercise science, and is the son of Dan Herrman and Julie Grosse. Jada Wynn is a junior from Selmer majoring in Biology: Pre-Professional Health with a minor in Criminal Justice, and is the daughter of Shelley Walker and Clifford Wynn.
The first couple representing the senior class was Makenzie Harden and Jacob Bowles. Makenzie Harden is a senior from Decatur County, Tenn., majoring in Biology: Pre-Professional Health, and is the daughter of Chad and Liz Harden. Upon graduation, Makenzie hopes to attend Bethel University’s Physician Assistant Program to one day fulfill her dream of being a medical practitioner.
Jacob Bowles is a senior from Adamsville, majoring in Mathematics and Minor in Criminal Justice. He is the son of Josh Bowles and Jamie and Jason Gilchrist. Upon graduation, he plans on pursuing a career with the US Federal Marshals.
The second couple representing the Senior class is Adeline Edwards and Stephen Kelly. Adeline Edwards is a senior from Paducah, Ky., majoring in Sports management, and is the daughter of Kirk and Laura Edwards. Upon graduation, Adeline plans to work in ticket sales and hopefully become an athletic director for a junior college.
Stephen Kelly is a Senior from Mayfield, Ky., majoring in criminal justice, and is the son of Stephen and Alicia Kelly, and Emily Torres. Upon graduation, his plans are to attend law school and one day open up his own law firm.
The final couple representing the senior class is Mercedes Wright and Jake Lilly. Mercedes Wright is a Senior from Camden, who is majoring in Special Education grades K-8. She is the daughter of Debbie Brickert, Edward Brickert, and the late Michael Hottes (Hot-es). Upon graduation, Mercedes plans to teach CDC Special Education in an Elementary School.
Jake Lilly is a senior from South Fulton, Tenn., majoring in Biology: Pre-Professional Health, and is the son of Susan Joyner and Danny Joyner. Upon graduation, he plans to attend a medical school to pursue a career in pediatric medicine.
