BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberland (Tenn.) is the No. 1 seed in the 2026 Mid-South Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament, conference officials announced on Saturday.
The Phoenix claimed the regular-season title and a bye into the tournament semifinals after finishing with a conference-best 14 points in the MSC Men's Soccer Table. Cumberland finished 2026 with a 4-0-2 record in conference play.
The Bethel Wildcats and Campbellsville Tigers will play Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Walter Butler Stadium.
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is the No. 2 seed and will host seventh-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) in Columbia, Ky., in one of three quarterfinal matches. Third-seeded Bethel (Tenn.) plays host to No. 6 seed Campbellsville (Ky.) in McKenzie, Tennessee, while fourth-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) hosts fifth-seeded Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) in Williamsburg, Ky., in the other quarterfinal matches.
Bethel lost 3-2 in Campbellsville in late September. The Cats are 6-4-2 on the year. They are 5-0 at home on the season. The Tigers are 3-8-5 overall and 0-4-1 on the road. The Cats and Tigers will play Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Walter Butler Stadium.
Quarterfinal action is slated for October 28-30. Semifinals are scheduled for November 4-6, with the championship game slated for November 10. All games will be played at the higher seed.
The tournament winner earns the conference’s automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships in November.
