Bethel/Eastside FCE Met
From the Apr 29, 2025 e-EditionEight members of the Bethel/Eastside FCE met Thursday, April 10 in the home of Mary and Pennye Mays for their April meeting. We met a little earlier than usual to work on the boo-boo bunnies that were taken to the nursing home. The Saturday workshop was canceled due to scheduling.
The roll call was answered with, "What is your favorite thing about spring, and why?" The secretary read the minutes which were accepted as read. Also, the financial report was given by the treasurer.
In old business, Cyprus Park was brought back on the agenda. It was agreed that we would meet at the Mays house for car pooling on May 17. We will eat out. The food drive at the office complex continues through April 18.
In new business, the cluster meeting is on April 24 at Montgomery County.
Spring Rally is April 21 in the kitchen at the Carroll County Complex. Bethel/Eastside is providing the meal, salads and decor. Be sure to bring your cultural art exhibits for judging. The blue winners go on to the district in Jackson.
The program was given by Jean Wininger on clutter. Jean was also the hostess for this month.
What type of clutter personality are you? We took a little quiz to find out.
- The minimalist - efficient and goal oriented. Maintaining a clutter free lifestyle.
- Sentimental Saver - Holding on to memories and personal items. Needs to focus on what truly matters.
- Overwhelmed Avoider - Clutter is daunting to you. Where do you begin? Make small inroads and gain confidence. A little at a time until it's gone.
- Indecisive organizer - You want a clutter free space but struggle with decisions. Clear guidelines will help you de-clutter and get organized.
You can do it!
Next month's hostess is Sue Smith on May 8th.
