Bethel's Berry to compete internationally

McKENZIE — Bethel University shooting sports standout Dalton Berry has been selected to represent the United States as a member of the USA Shooting Junior World Cup Team and will compete internationally next month. 

Berry, a senior from Murfreesboro, will compete at the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) Junior World Cup Sept. 12-21 in Porpetto, Italy. The selection adds another accomplishment to Berry’s collegiate career. He enters the competition as the defending 2025 Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP) Collegiate Men’s High Overall national champion. 

“I feel truly blessed to have USA on my back,” Berry said. “I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to represent my family, Bethel University and my country.” 

Bethel shooting sports head coach Steve Thomas said Berry has earned the opportunity to compete on the international stage. “Dalton is a fine young man and an extremely talented shooter,” Thomas said. “We are very proud of him and wish him the very best as he represents Bethel University and the United States in Italy.”
