From the Apr 21, 2026 e-EditionMrs. Betty Foreman, 91, of Bruceton, Tenn., died Monday, April 13, at the Life Care Center of Bruceton.
Funeral services were Thursday, April 16, in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home with Bro. Hunter Jones officiating.
Mrs. Betty was born March 6, 1935, in Bruceton, Tenn. to the late Orville Higdon and Lura Beasley Higdon. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Foreman; three brothers, James Higdon, Millard Higdon, and Billy Joe Higdon; four sisters, Lorene King, Lewana Smothers, Dorothy Edwards, and Onellia Kirk.
She is survived by a daughter, Patsy (James D.) Crockett, two sisters-in-law, Johnnie Higdon and Patsy Higdon, two grandchildren, Kristin (Kyle) Cantrell and Cody (Erin) Crockett, and two great-grandchildren, Penelope and Isadora Crockett.
